Chrome will be the best listener
While Mozilla was busy counting the downloads of its latest release, Internet Explorer was jealous :),and Opera was disappointed because no one was paying any attention on its new Opera 11 version,Chrome was working silently and boom…New Beta version with feature cooler than ever. Google has added to Chrome`s Beta channel speech to text feature, which transcribes voice to text in Web applications via HTML5. When a web page is using this feature, all you have to do is talk to your computer and Google sends it to its servers where the voice is translated in text and typed out for you. If you are using the Beta version of Chrome, you can try this out. Just don`t push it guys, because you know what they say,a good listener is not only popular anywhere, but after a while, he knows something.;)![]()
Mozilla Foxier than ever
Yesterday Mozilla Firefox released the final version of Firefox 4, which already gained over 5 million downloads. According to the statistics, Microsoft’s Internet Explorer 9,also recently released, reached a total of 2.3 million downloads in the first 24 hours. I guess the new Mozilla browser is twice as foxier as Internet Explorer 9:). The latest version of Mozilla Firefox introduces a new look, new features for more efficient navigation and improvements to the Java Script engine, which made Firefox’s speed six time faster than the previous releases.Check out the new features on Mozilla Firefox web site.I will not tell you the address, but I am sure you will find it, it is extremely popular. :))
How Does a Router/Switch Work?
Well I have to admit I’m an IRC guy. Had a lot of good times on it. I used to have lots of friends there(not the only ones lol), meet and chat with new people, love at first sight (even though it turned out a completely different person, quite the opposite if I may say, after we’ve got to know each other a little bit by exchanging pictures :P . I used to kick guys just because I don’t like how they look (yah I was a bully), and even ban them from my own room! :D I knew IRC since it was born! Well not exactly, but at least since my social life started to evolve :P.
Just kidding :P . No really! Don’t get me wrong I’m no chatter blabbing around all day with people I don’t even know if they are real or bots :). But I do use IRC a lot, idling most of the time and reading some interesting conversations that were made from time to time. Well here is one classic for ya I got the other day from a nerdy(but in a cool way) channel I usually idle in:
[01:25] <+sharkie> lol
[01:26]<+sharkie> i asked someone at work how a router worked
[01:26] <+sharkie> he responded with, well the packet comes in one end, and it gets routed around, and then packet leaves other end
[01:27] <&wOLF> lol
[01:27] <+sharkie> i asked him well how does a switch work
[01:27] <+sharkie> same response
[01:27] <+sharkie> well the packet comes in gets switched around in circles then it goes out the other end
[01:28] <&wOLF> classic
[01:28] <&wOLF> guy knows his stuff
[01:28] <+sharkie> i didnt ask him how does a hub works though
[01:28] <&wOLF> Lol
[01:29] <+sharkie> alright, i gotta get back to work
Are you in for a S.N.A.K?
Let me introduce you a new gadget designed for the Facebook addicts, the Social Network Access Keyboard. With 19 different Facebook shortcut keys, this design is targeted to the Facebook status likers and picture updaters. This keyboard requires installation of software, which controls the shortcut keys, placed on the both sides of the keyboard. The keys allow you to go right to the part where you create group or change privacy settings. The idea behind this 30$ nonsense is that despite the Facebook layout, you can always easily like someone’s status or upload pictures very quickly. My opinion is that the real Facebook addicts will not be very amazed of this new gadget, simply because it will shorten their precious moments with the Social Network.

Nvidia GeForce GTX590 is Finally Here!
I received a pleasant info today from nVidia and as you can read the title it is actually pretty good one for gamers. GeForce GTX590 has been introduced officially today after a few days delay from the original release date driver issues related. It’s a dual-GPU beast with 1024 famous nVidia CUDA cores with 3GB GDDR5 ram. It seems that this is THE most powerful GPU at the moment.
If you’re wondering what’s in the hood, the GTX 590 actually contains two GeForce GTX 580 GPUs with the same CUDA 512 cores. Well if you think what stops me from buying myself another GTX580 and run them in SLI, how about getting two GTX 590′s into SLI? Now that is what I call power! The GPUs and memory, according to nVidia are clocked down a bit GPUs at 607MHz and memory at 3.4GHz. The acoustics however have been much approved. Comparing to ATI Radeon HD6990 the nVidia card is significantly smaller and has backplates. The HD6990 however has 2GB per GPU memory available, so yes nVidia still has a bit of catching up to do. Asus, Gigabyte, EVGA and other manufacturers have already released their builds of the nvidia GTX590. Asus, as usual has their a little bit extra clocked at 3.42GHz :)
Oh the price right. Well it was announced that it will be sold at 900$ (huh?) but as we all know prices usually drop significantly even only a few days after. Asus GTX590 can already be found at 730$.
You can check the gallery and video by an official nVidia representative below. Have fun and we care what your thoughts are so do not hesitate to comment. Game on!
